What we collect
HomeFront stores account information (name, email), project data you upload (plans, bids, finish schedules, notes), and usage needed to operate the service. We do not sell your personal information.
How we use your data
Your project files and selections power bid comparison, allowance analysis, compliance checks, and builder package exports. Optional AI features process document text server-side using platform-owned API keys — your data is not used to train third-party models.
Storage and security
Files are stored in encrypted object storage. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Access to project data is restricted to your authenticated account.
Third-party services
When AI features are enabled, selected content may be sent to configured providers (e.g. Google Gemini, OpenRouter) under our platform agreement. Google Sign-In, if enabled, is subject to Google's privacy policy.
Your choices
You may export your builder package, delete projects, or delete your account by contacting support. Shared package links expire and can be revoked from the Share page.
